| If you want to use some other device from the PC Card,
such as a MIDI card, then you will need a driver for that card from the
card manufacturer to make it look like an equivalent PC card (in this case
a PC MIDI card). You may then also need PC-side drivers for the impersonated
card.
This is how the NE2000 network card and SoundBlaster cards work. Aleph One provides a developers’ kit to enable these drivers to be written. |
